Feedray · Spoiler blocker
Hide spoilers on Threads
Finale tonight, match on Sunday, a game you are halfway through. Add the words you want to avoid, and Feedray blurs every post and comment that contains them. You scroll on, and you lift the cover when you are ready.

Why it matters
The one place you cannot avoid a spoiler is the feed you scroll every day. Threads has hidden words, but they remove matching content for good. Sometimes you want the opposite: keep the post where it is, covered, and look at it next week.
How it works
- Open the Feedray settings (the "Feedray" row in the Threads sidebar) and find "Spoiler protection".
- Add your words. Each one needs at least 2 characters, and the match ignores case. It works as soon as the list has a word; an empty list covers nothing.
- Any post or comment whose visible text contains one of them gets its text and its images and videos blurred under a Threads-style "Spoiler" pill.
- Click the pill and that one post is revealed.
Only the posts that matched are covered, nothing else changes. The word list stays in your browser, and nothing is sent anywhere.
Questions
How is this different from Threads' hidden words?
Hidden words remove matching content. Feedray keeps the post in place under a cover that you can lift with one click, and only what matched is covered.
Does it cover comments too?
Yes. Posts and comments are both checked by their visible text.
Where is my word list stored?
In your browser's local storage. It never leaves your computer.
