Best Chrome extensions for Threads (2026)
The Threads web app shows less than the feed could: no view counts until you open a post, nothing about who is behind a name. A handful of extensions fill the gaps. Here is what each one does, so you can pick by the job rather than by the name.
Full disclosure: I made Feedray, the first one on the list. Everything said about the others comes from their own Chrome Web Store pages as of October 25, 2026; user counts change, so check the store before you install.
Stats right in the feed
Feedray
View counts next to the likes on every post, and a line under every author's name with followers, posting rhythm and average likes. On top of that: an opt-in AI-written score from 1 to 100 with five account tags, a spoiler blocker that blurs posts with words you choose, and a character counter with a one-click Split into a thread in the composer. Free, no account, every feature has its own switch. feedray.dev
Views and Followers for Threads
Shows each post's view count in the feed and each author's follower count next to their name. A focused two-feature tool. About 10 users at the time of writing. Chrome Web Store
View Counts and Followers on Threads feed (threaddy)
The same pair - view and follower counts on the feed - so you get quick numbers without tapping into each post. About 63 users, rated 3.0 from 2 ratings. Chrome Web Store
Analytics and research
Threadlytics
Collects up to 1,000 posts from a search or a profile and runs AI-powered analysis on them. It is for research on creators and topics rather than for reading the feed. About 184 users, rated 5.0 from 2 ratings. Chrome Web Store
ThreadsLens
Post-level performance insights for creators: view ranges, top-performing posts, distribution and outliers instead of totals. About 9 users. Chrome Web Store
Threads Analyzer
Gathers and analyses engagement on a thread - replies, reactions, views and who takes part - in one click. About 7 users. Chrome Web Store

How to choose
- You read the feed and want context: an in-feed stats extension. Feedray if you also want the AI score, spoilers and the counter; one of the two-feature tools if views and followers are all you need.
- You research creators or topics: Threadlytics for bulk collection, ThreadsLens or Threads Analyzer for post-level performance.
- You only need to fit a long post: no extension needed - try the free Threads character counter.
Whatever you pick, check what it asks for. None of these tasks needs your Threads password, and an extension that only reads the page you have open should say so in its privacy policy.
